Chef Angelo D. Patruno left Italy in 1988, and moved to Bermuda with his then newlywed wife, Maria. He worked at the Harbourfront Restaurant in Hamilton, Bermuda for some time, and then moved to the United States with his wife and his first daughter. There, in Philadelphia, he worked with his brother at the Monte Carlo Living Room on South Street; later transferring to the Primavera Pizza Kitchen in Ardmore, Pennsylvania along the Main Line.
In 1996, he moved once more to Hatboro, Pennsylvania and began working at Cafe La Fontana in the center of town. After four years, he went out on his own and purchased his own restaurant in Doylestown, Ristorante Il Melograno in the year 2000.
At Ristorante Il Melograno we follow strict standards on service, quality and presentation. We use only the finest ingredients in all of our dishes to ensure that every meal we serve is delicious and nutritious. We encourage you to visit our restaurant and experience our international Italian cuisine. We look forward to your visit.
